All enrolment forms and fees must be received by First-Hand Experiences at least 12 weeks prior to departure where the timeframe permits.
To ensure correct provision of services, travelers must provide complete first, middle and last names, dates of birth and passport numbers as they appear (or will appear) on their passports, as well as any medical or dietary information at least 4 weeks priorto arrival.
Requests for students to be added to the group, will be considered, depending upon availability, up to 4 weeks prior to departure. After this point, no change in student numbers will be allowed.
Children aged 13 -17 traveling are required to submit parental consent via email to First-Hand Experiences at least 4 weeks before departure. The format will be provided by First-Hand Experiences .
Parents of the participants are also required to read and agree to our terms and conditions via email 4 weeks before departure
All bookings are accepted on the understanding that you come on the trip at your own risk. It is not possible for us to be responsible for the actions or omissions of those involved in your program over whom we have no direct control, such as employees of airlines, transport undertakings and others. Equally we are not responsible for loss or expense due to war, riots, strikes, terrorist activities, natural disasters, or bankruptcies (or similar) of unconnected third parties. First-hand Experiences is not liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or other irregularity which may be caused by defect of any vehicle or other equipment, other than its own, or the negligence or default of any company or person engaged in carrying out or performing any of the services involved, other than our own staff.
Some courses, treks, and other adventure activities are provided by independent third parties. First-hand Experiences can arrange bookings for these courses, treks and other adventure activities on your behalf but are not appointed agents or representatives of these third parties and cannot accept liability for them or their activities.
First-Hand Experiences retains the right to cancel, modify or delay a trip as a result of unforeseeable events that are beyond First-Hand Experiences reasonable control, including but not limited to, acts of God, war (whether declared or undeclared), terrorist activities or threats of terrorists activities, instability in the destination country, incidents of violence, public health issues or quarantine or threats of public health issues, substantial currency fluctuations, strikes, Government restrictions, fire or severe weather conditions, or any other reason that makes it impossible or commercially unreasonable in the sole opinion of First-Hand Experiences to conduct the program as originally proposed
If First-Hand Experiences cancels the program for any such reason, participants will receive a future travel voucher for all money paid, less the non-refundable deposit fee. Cancellation of the program for causes described in this section shall not be a violation of its obligations to any traveler.
First-Hand Experiences can not be help responsible for airline fee incurred as a result of cancellation.
